1. Scope and existing rights
This licence covers only project-owned software, documentation and brand artwork
that someorbit is entitled to license, supplied in a distribution carrying this
notice. It does not claim ownership of ideas, algorithms, third-party works or
material that is not copyrightable. Covered host characters have the separate
CHARACTER-LICENSE.txt terms. Third-party components and explicitly separately
licensed data retain their own licences, including the CC-BY-4.0 face data in
data/params.json and data/tokens.json. Read THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES and bundled notices.

Earlier MIT and other licence grants remain effective for material received under
those licences. This licence does not revoke, narrow or override those rights.
The preceding project MIT and character notices are preserved in
LICENSES/LEGACY-MIT.txt and LICENSES/LEGACY-CHARACTER.txt as historical notices,
not as a new grant for subsequent proprietary additions. Previously prepared
0.1.6 and older installers retain the notices and rights supplied with them.

2. Permitted use
A lawful recipient of an authorized Agent Avatar distribution may install and
run the unmodified product for personal or internal business use, make reasonable
backup copies, and connect their own applications through its documented runtime
interfaces. These permissions do not include distributing or sublicensing the
product or its source. No account or payment obligation is introduced here.
User inputs and generated replies are not claimed as someorbit property by this
licence; third-party rights and model-provider terms may apply to those outputs.

3. Reserved rights
Except for the permissions above, a separate written agreement, rights under an
earlier or third-party licence, or rights that applicable law preserves, you may
not copy, publish, distribute, sell, sublicense, modify or create derivative
works of covered code, documentation or artwork. You may not extract or reuse
covered material to build or distribute another product or asset collection.
You may not remove required copyright, licence or attribution notices.
Access to a private repository is not a grant to redistribute its contents.
No trademark permission is granted except ordinary identification of authorized
product use. Independent implementation of an idea is not prohibited by this
copyright licence. Rights not expressly granted are reserved.

4. Exceptions and precedence
Nothing restricts rights that cannot lawfully be restricted, or permissions
already held under MIT, CC-BY or another applicable licence. Third-party notices
control their respective components; this file does not relicense them.
A future update to these terms does not retroactively change earlier grants.

5. Warranty and liability
THE COVERED MATERIAL IS PROVIDED AS IS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND
NONINFRINGEMENT, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. TO THAT EXTENT, THE COPYRIGHT
HOLDER IS NOT LIABLE FOR CLAIMS, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY ARISING FROM USE OF
THE MATERIAL. Nothing excludes non-waivable rights or liabilities.
